The Archona Sport Shooting range of firearms – is exactly what you demand and need to command the sporting range and dominate the tournament circuit.
In ancient human history ARCHON meant - the chief magistrate in ancient Athens. The origin of the term is a Greek word that refers to "… claims the right to rule, or to exercise power, to be of sovereign authority …”
In the history of the cosmos, Archons were believed to be the builders of the physical universe, rulers, related to one of seven planets in the solar system. Archon, in Gnosticism (gnostikos – meaning “leading to knowledge” or “pertaining to knowledge”), was considered to have world-governing powers, created with the material world by a deity figure. In contemporary mythology “Archonians” are said to hail from the planet of Borocon 3 in the Andromeda Galaxy and even created the Roman Empire. Let your mind wonder the expanse of the cosmos …
The recurring image of Archons during the ages are those of the “jailers - imprisoning the divine spark in human souls held captive in material creations” – hence the rifle range “Archona” name, the product range that enchant and captivate the divine ingenuity of contemporary firearms.

Our CEO, university graduate, business development consultant, entrepreneur, philanthropist, an industrial condition based monitoring pioneer and specialist for preventative maintenance and risk management. A provocative public figure, but - by all means a dynamic leader with unwavering good values, set virtues and hands-on front line commitment. He always juggled two major passions – aviation and firearms. With a particular love for sailplanes and partial to touring motor gliders (TMG) he would develop and master new instruction techniques; he developed and implement the world first official CAA CARS independent licence rating. He developed the love of firearms, for hunting and sport shooting from a very young age, in later years he proofed to be quite the natural marksman and contender in any shooting discipline he would indulge.
Since 2014 he has taking a particular interest in ELRS (Extended Long Range Shooting) – even coined the terms “ELRS” and the definition! He was instrumental in the development of the ELRS Sport shooting disciplines to a well-defined and recognised organized sport shooting code, the founding of ELRSASA (ELRS Association of South African), currently serving as the President of the National League administrator. Mr Roelofse is a remarkable firearms industry patron and influencer as a well-respected firearms industry journalist and commentator. He truly is an ambassador for LR (Long Range shooting) and ELR / ELRS. He is not a talker, if anything he speaks from experience, and - hold titles to various ELRS firsts in South Africa and a few records.
